"I’m not the most patient person when…"
I’m not the most patient person when it comes to waiting on refunds, so I was expecting to get annoyed. But it came through fast and there was no hassle at all. Stress-free experience.

"Pretty good for budget stays"
I’ve used Hostelworld a few times when I’ve been travelling and trying not to spend too much, and it’s been good for the price. I like being able to quickly compare places and read reviews before booking, because I’m not always sure I’m picking the right one. Somehow I’ve managed to find a few really central hostels that were way cheaper than what I was seeing on other sites, which made me wonder if I was missing something. They weren’t fancy or anything, but they did the job and saved me money, so I can’t really complain.

"Surprisingly Good Support"
I had an issue with my booking and didn’t expect much, since I usually don’t trust customer service to actually fix things without making it more complicated. But they replied quickly, explained what was going on in a way that made sense, and got it sorted out. It was way easier than I thought it would be. Thanks!

"No surprises, which was such a relief!!"
I booked through Hostelworld everything was exactly as listed!! The photos, room type, lockers, location, and check-in info all matched up when I got there. I’ve had some annoying issues with other sites before, so this was a really nice change. It just made planning way easier, and there were no weird surprises when I arrived

Used hostelworld on my last trip safety was my biggest worry since I was traveling solo. The reviews were actually super helpful, people were mentioning stuff like lockers, 24/7 reception, and whether the area felt sketchy or chill. I ended up booking a place with loads of good safety comments, and it was pretty much exactly like everyone said when I got there. Nothing wild or fancy, but it saved me from just winging it. Felt safe the whole time, so yeah, easy 5 stars from me

"Pretty solid for finding a hostel without losing your mind"
I usually use Hostelworld.com when I’m trying to compare places in a city I’ve never been to. The filters are actually helpful, price, rating, room type, all the usual stuff I don’t want to dig through manually like it’s 2006. Search results load fast and most of the time they actually match what I selected, which is apparently a luxury these days. The map and filters could be a little smoother sometimes, because who doesn’t enjoy waiting for tiny pins to catch up with reality? But overall, it makes finding a decent hostel painless

"Really reassuring while traveling"

I booked this after going through the photos, and reading between the lines, I was mostly just hoping there wouldn’t be any surprises when I showed up. Luckily, it looked pretty much the same in person. The room, beds, and common area all matched the listing well, which made the whole thing feel easy to trust. I’d be happy using Hostelworld.com again...

"Nice rewards, but don’t expect big savings"
I’ve used Hostelworld a few times now, and the loyalty rewards are a nice little bonus. They’re not going to save you a ton of money, so just don’t go in expecting huge discounts, but they can still help a bit when you’re traveling. The app works fine overall too.

I’ve used Hostelworld a few times now, i don’t really get the complaints some people have. The site is easy to move around, searching by city and dates is quick, and the filters actually do what they’re supposed to do. The reviews are simple to read, and the map view makes it way less annoying to pick a place. Prices and room types are clear too, which matters a lot when you’re trying not to mess up a booking. It only took me a couple minutes to book, and I wasn’t confused at any point. Smooth overall, and yeah, I’d use it again

"Easy Booking, But the Tax Breakdown Felt a Little Suspicious"
Booking was easy, and I appreciated that the fees showed up before I paid instead of magically appearing at the last second like they usually do. No weird surprise charges, which almost made me wonder what the catch was. The only thing is, the taxes could’ve been explained a bit better. I’m not saying there’s a secret fee cabal behind it, but a clearer breakdown would definitely make me feel less like I’m decoding classified documents

“Because they had the only availability in the area and dates I was looking for. Nothing else. But it was a double booking. Either one or both Hotel and Hostel World are in for the taking.”
